If Florida is on your post-lockdown travel wish list, you may want to schedule a stop in Delray Beach to eat your way through one of the nation's largest food halls. Clocking in at a whopping 150,000 square feet, Delray Beach Market is slated to open in April with a lineup of 27 local food vendors, three bars and outdoor seating for 200—all spread across four floors.

The massive food hall is positioning itself as a community gathering space that will be dotted with "stunning, large-format interactive murals and sculptures by world-renowned artists," according to a press release. On the food front, diners may need to make return trips to visit all of the kitchens, including Sorella's for handmade pasta, Tekka Bar for hand rolls, Tiffin Box for Indian eats and Bona Bona for boozy ice cream treats.

On top of all that, guests will also find three bars scattered throughout the complex: The central bar is stocked with build-your-own Bloody Marys and craft cocktails, while a ground-floor bar specializes in craft beer from local breweries. A third bar is located in the market's show kitchen, which will host cooking and baking classes as well as private events.

"The concept will be as much about supporting up-and-coming chefs as it will be to housing experienced concepts ranging from eclectic to fast-casual and fine dining," says Andy Masi, founder and CEO of Clique Hospitality, which will manage the property.

To keep diners safe, Delray Beach Market boasts socially-distanced seating, enhanced air-filtration systems, collapsible folding glass barriers and totally touch-free bathrooms. Plus, glass garage doors on the ground floor will open to create an alfresco dining environment when the weather allows.
