Food hall mania in Florida keeps going strong, with the latest newcomer is the largest of the bunch. Delray Beach Market officially opened its doors late last week, standing four stories tall with 150,000-square feet of space and featuring more than 25 local and regional eateries along with a rotating lineup of smaller vendor pop-ups.

Notable restaurants on the ground floor include Sorella’s, a pasta outpost by Florida-based chef Jimmy Everett, offering build-your-own-pastas as well as a variety of retail items; Bona Bona, featuring over-the-top ice cream and milkshake creations; Tekka Bar, serving up hand-rolls and sake; Tiffin Box, boasting Indian fare from all over India; Dad’s Favorite, serving up old-school inspired smash burgers and fries; Vote for Pedro serving up Mexican fare and guacamole; and many more.

Drinks are abundant as well in space. The main hall of the market on the first floor features a central bar serving up seasonal cocktails and a build-your-own Bloody Mary area. Additionally, there’s a dedicated craft beer bar serving brews from Florida; while on the mezzanine level, there’s an open kitchen surrounded with lounge areas along with an additional bar.

The bright space showcases large interactive murals and sculptures, bright retro neon signs throughout the space, a 220-car, four-level parking garage, as well as dedicated takeout and pick-up spots. COVID-19 design features include touchless bathrooms, collapsible nanowalls for open-air spaces at the mezzanine special event level, two garage doors on the ground floor, enhanced air filter AC system, outdoor seating for 200, and socially-distanced spaced indoor seating.
