Capital One Cafe Coming to Delray & Green Owl Relocating
Menin Development, Inc. is pleased to announce it has entered into agreements with Capital One Café and The Green Owl restaurant for its buildings located at 326 and 400 East Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida.
Capital One Café, a division of the fifth largest bank in the US, will be leasing 5,840 square feet at 326 East Atlantic Avenue. The Capital One Café will provide individuals with a space where they can recharge their bank accounts, devices and lives while learning new ways to manage their finances, try out new digital and financial tools, and grab a great cup of coffee.
“We believe your money should always fuel your purpose which is why our aim is to reimagine banking in a way that’s a simple, straight-forward experience designed for you,” commented Mike Friedman, Café Lead at Capital One. “We want South Florida residents to view the Capital One Café as a resource that can help champion their aspirations and know that whatever path they take, Capital One is there to assist in the journey – so you can more seamlessly manage your finances.”
Since first opening in New York City in 2001, Capital One Cafés have become an active part of the community landscapes in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, San Francisco and more.
The Green Owl, a Delray Beach institution since 1981, will relocate across the street to a new, custom designed space at Menin’s 400 East Atlantic Ave. Menin has agreed to convert and build out this new location at its own cost and expense in order to preserve and ensure the long-term survival of this iconic neighborhood restaurant. Commenting on this, Marc Yavinsky, Menin’s Executive Vice President remarked, “We are not only real estate developers and owners, but also corporate and personal residents of Delray. With all of the change coming to the Avenue and to downtown Delray, we think it is important for the community to recognize and preserve long time institutions such as the Green Owl and are proud we are able to do so.”
The owner of the Green Owl, Dave Gensman, added this, “My staff and I are excited to be moving to a new location across the street. We are looking forward to a new, updated restaurant while maintaining the “charm” of the Owl! I would like to thank Marc Yavinsky and Menin Development for understanding the importance of having a place like the Owl in Delray. I also want to thank all of our customers that have supported us for the past 30 years! We love you all!!”
